1 Monster Eyes (Toilet Roll Tubes & Glow Sticks)
Number one in our super easy crafty Halloween decor ideas for kids is the fantastic monster eyes craft. This is such an easy Halloween craft idea for children and the end results looks suitably spooky!
All you need in order to create this super easy DIY Halloween decoration are a few glow sticks* and some empty toilet roll tubes. Simply use some scissors to cut a variety of spooky shaped eyes into the toilet roll tube (smaller children will probably need adult supervision to do this). Next, snap your glow stick and place it inside the toilet roll tube – you can secure it in place using sticky tape.
These creepy looking toilet roll eyes look amazing when strategically hidden away in hedges and flower pots, creating the appearance of monstrous Halloween characters spying on your unsuspecting trick or treaters.
Even if it rains, this super easy crafty Halloween decoration should last the night, making it a great addition to your spooky Halloween home.
2 Creepy Crawly Soap
It doesn’t get any easier than this super easy crafty Halloween decor idea for kids – creepy crawly soap. This is such an effective bathroom addition and is cheap and easy to do. Simply get a bottle of hand soap and remove the label (or turn it around so it doesn’t block the view of the soap). Next, pick yourself up some creepy crawly plastic bugs or plastic spiders* and squash them into your liquid soap container.

3 Toilet Paper Bats
For lovers of craft, this one’s for you. This super easy crafty Halloween decor idea is brilliant for kids who love to paint, and in order to make this cute little Halloween friend, all you need is a toilet roll tube, some black paint, black paper, and some glue. These are really easy to make and look great when strung from the ceiling or light fixtures in groups of 3 or 4. 4 Poison Apple Bucket
This is more of a graphic design project than a crafty one, but it’s still extremely fun! Of course, you can still use traditional media to make your creepy poison apple sign, but I do think it’s quite fun to use browser based software, such as Canva, to create these DIY signs.
All you need for this super easy crafty Halloween decoration is a bucket or cauldron and some apples. This plays into Snow White’s poison apple predicament and looks fantastic outside when paired with a homemade sign.

5 Googly Eyed Mummy Jars
If you’re looking for an easy crafty Halloween decor item that looks great on your mantle or windowsill, these googly eyed mummy jars are simple and quick to make. To create these cute little lanterns wrap some empty jam jars with bandage material and use some hot glue to hold it all in place. To finish it off, add some googly eyes, and voila – one mummy jar! Pop a battery operated tea light* inside and watch the spooky flickering candle light bring your mummy to life.
